Although born in Arizona at the age of 4 he was brought to the U.K by his parents, who felt he would have a better quality of life here than on the reservation. Having always honored his native heritage Jim was deeply saddened when he heard of the suffering of the Lakota people on the Pine ridge and Cheyenne River Reservations, caused through inadequate heating and a lack of supplies during the cold winter months..."
